Everything begins with a simple introduction. Once you submit your application, I’ll take the time to understand your goals and ensure we’re the perfect fit. If so, we’ll schedule a video consult—a relaxed, thoughtful conversation where we connect, explore your vision, and set the foundation for a meaningful creative partnership.

From there, you’ll receive a custom project proposal outlining the deliverables, estimated cost, timeline, and next steps. With the proposal approved, your contract signed, and your deposit submitted, your project officially enters the Oak + Ember books.

Through a guided questionnaire designed to help you reflect on your business, we’ll dive into your mission, values, target audience, and aesthetic direction. These insights become our creative compass, ensuring every decision moving forward feels aligned, purposeful, and rooted in the essence of your business.

With strategy in place, I begin crafting your brand’s visual identity. You’ll receive a beautifully curated brand presentation that brings your concept to life through strong visuals, thoughtful applications, and a clear sense of mood and style. Once everything is polished and finalized, you’ll receive a complete suite of organized files and an intuitive brand guideline document—your roadmap for consistent, confident use of your new identity. And if you’re ready to continue the journey, many clients move seamlessly into web design or additional collateral for a fully realized brand experience.

I don't believe that a singular logo can capture your audience or convey your brands full identity and story. For that reason, I do not design a logo on it’s own. In order to create a memorable brand experience and stand out in your industry, it is absolutely necessary to make the investment and develop a full brand identity.

My availability varies throughout the year, however, I typically book out 1-2 months in advance. If you are interested in working together, fill out our client application form, and if it seems like we'd be a great fit I will be in touch with an approximate start date and other booking information.

Turnaround time varies depending on the project. Once we discuss your project I will send over a project timeline with the contract outlining a schedule as well as necessary client response times. Typically, Oak + Ember’s branding package takes approximately 6-8 weeks from start to completion. Branding + Web design takes approximately 12-16 weeks.

Working with a designer is a big investment, so I try to make payments as simple as possible for my clients. You’ll start by paying a 30% deposit to hold your spot in my schedule. I typically develop a payment plan and break up the remainder of the cost into 3-4 payments that will be spread out equally throughout the project until paid off.

I take a lot of pride in my process to ensure that there is meaning and intention behind every aspect of your brand. I also want to make sure that everything remains cohesive and consistent within your brand identity. Because of this, I do not work with any existing brand identities or logos and ask that all new clients go through a rebrand with me before working on any websites or additional collateral.

The timeline varies depending on the scope of your project. Once we discuss your needs, I’ll provide a detailed project timeline with your project proposal and contract, outlining key milestones and client response times to keep everything on track. Typically, our Brand Development package takes about 6–8 weeks from start to finish, while the Branding + Web Design package usually takes 12–16 weeks to complete.

For that reason, I don’t work with existing logos or brand identities. Merging old elements with new ones can compromise the clarity and intention of your story, so all new clients begin with a full rebrand to ensure your brand is thoughtfully crafted from the ground up.
What if I already have a logo?
